Meet us at Folkemødet 2026

This year too, the Institute of Strain Psychology is going to Folkemødet in AllingeFolkemødet i Allinge.

We look forward to some intense days of debates, professional conversations and meetings with people who work with leadership, well-being, work environment and welfare — in practice.

Here’s where you can meet us.

“Dear leader – who is responsible for your well-being?” A debate organised by Væksthus for Ledelse on leaders’ strain, responsibility and working conditions. See programme, time, location and panel participants.

“Is our welfare society facing collapse?” A debate organised by Socialt Indblik on pressure, prioritisation and the risk of moral stress. See programme, time, location and panel participants.

“Are we working ourselves sick in pursuit of the perfect life? Are we overlooking the cost?” An event hosted by the Danish Nurses’ Organization on the pace of society, performance pressure and the human and health-related consequences of chasing the perfect life. See programme, time, location and panel participants.

Who can you meet from the Institute?

Maybe we’ll see you at a debate? Maybe in a courtyard tent? Maybe in the queue for coffee? Please do come over and say hello.

What else should we experience?

Folkemødet is also where you discover the topics and conversations you did not know you were missing.

So if you are taking part in a debate yourself — or have spotted something we should listen to — please do send us a tip. We would love to hear where the most important discussions are taking place this year. We may also share the tip via the institute’s LinkedIn profile.

Should we meet?

If you'd like to meet up during Folkemødet, please don't hesitate to get in touch. It could be for an informal conversation about leadership, wellbeing, the working environment, or the challenges your organisation is currently facing.

Perhaps just 20 minutes in the sun and a soft drink? Get in touch here.

And if you're also curious about how we work with strain, stress and the psychosocial work environment in practice, we'd be delighted to have that conversation too. We look forward to a few inspiring days in Allinge.

Even if it rains!

See you at Folkemødet. And please feel free to share this newsletter with your manager, colleague or friend, who might also find it useful. You can also tell them that they can sign up for our future newsletters simply by clicking here.

Best regards,
From all of us at the Institute for Strain Psychology
