Psychological security and a group of North Jutlanders who have stopped bottling things up

Dear reader,

The concept psychological safety is more important than ever – and we at the department are incredibly pleased about that. Why? Because it is the key to a vibrant learning environment, where all staff are given the opportunity to contribute their knowledge, thoughts and perspectives. An environment where people can feel safe to ask questions, share ideas and concerns, and learn from both everyday successes and the inevitable setbacks. But psychological safety is not just a luxury – it is also a necessity. This is particularly true for workplaces operating under high pressure or dealing with complex tasks.

In some workplaces, psychological safety is still primarily a theoretical concept. In others, it has become an integral part of everyday practice. Here, it is not just talked about – it is actively put into practice. A prime example is Nordjyllands Beredskab, which you can read more about in this newsletter.
